Design Takeaways
During this project, I learned a lot about how the workflow changes when you are working from home. The pandemic dynamic affected my jam because it placed a heavier mindset on task allocation and communication through Trello.
As a just-for-fun jam, it was very relaxed and informative about how work-from-home impacts group projects. Gameplay-wise, I thought about how important it was to indicate to the player what their destination was.
It was crucial to use an object that aesthetically resembled a goal of some kind. Given that the player is constantly moving towards the planet, it needed to be clear immediately where the player needed to go.
